Volunteers

Opportunities to Serve at AUC in Haiti


Volunteers constitute the backbone of AUC and thus are wholeheartedly welcomed to serve in all aspects of the school. Volunteers receive lodging and meals, and a small monthly stipend.

INSTRUCTIONAL FACULTY (3 to 12 months)
AUC seeks to commitment of Christ-centered volunteers who are qualified and interested in teaching college-level courses in the following key academic areas:

COMPUTER PROGRAMMING ECONOMICS
NETWORK and SERVER ADMIN DESKTOP PUBLISHING
CHEMISTRY/ BIOLOGY STATISTICS
AGRICULTURE ENGLISH (EFL, Composition)
FORESTRY THEOOGY
EDUCATION  

GUEST LECTURERS
AUC invites skilled professionals or academics who can only come to Haiti for 2-3 weeks to offer lectures and/or workshops in any area that's related to our current programs.

AGROFORESTRY FARM MANAGER
AUC seeks a full time manager for its Agroforestry demonstration and research farm.

PUBLICATIONS TEAM
The AUC quarterly newsletter is intended to highlight the major happenings at the school, to seek resources, and to encourage personal involvement in the school. We are looking for volunteers with publications skills as well as writers to contribute articles.

SUPPORT STAFF
Support staff requires general administrative support skills and the desire to help wherever they are needed. All costs are paid for by the volunteers.

Exciting leadership opportunities currently exist. AUC has an urgent need to fill the following major positions:

Director of Resource Development, Academic Dean, Registrar, Provost
