The College of Civil Engineering admitted its first students in Fall 2009. All students in Civil Engineering begin their studies with a "Prep Year" designed to immerse them in English learning and to bring all students to a common level of competency in mathematics and the sciences. The Civil Engineering program is rigorous and challenging. Students complete their program with a Bachelor's Degree after five years of study.
